Lightweight, Comfortable and Non-Skid

Date:January 27, 2014
Few months ago I bought these shoes for my now 11 year old son. He loved them so much for their lightweight and comfort that he wouldn't wear any other shoes he had. Compare to all the shoes he has ever had, my son said the weight of these felt like nothing. Although the soles did not have grip as good as rubber soles, they were good enough for everyday running, playing basketball and other sports in gym on wood floors. I am thinking of ordering another pair for my younger son. I just wish they have more color choices.

Champion and Payless has really upped their game

Date:September 10, 2013
Pros: affordable, comfortable, stylish, rugged
Cons: runs 1/2 size small, not brand name
I recall the days where I would buy shoes to wear for a day or two for whatever occasion, for example: Going to the beach, forgot to bring water shoes so I would head over to payless to pick up a pair of $5 watershoes for the day and end up throwing them out because the quality was just horrible and usually smelled after a few wears. Champion has really upped their game. They don't spend money on advertising, it's not necessary because if you're buying this shoe for your kid, chances are you don't give a snot about brand names.
These sneakers are light, I mean really light, lighter than most BRAND NAME sneakers. The inside is soft and made out of decent synthetic materials, the same if not better than most brand name sneakers. The sole is made out of some sort of light foam material. It will wear down just like any other sneaker. My kid is very active, and he burns through most sneakers in 6 months. These are no different. The longer you wear these, the more comfortable they get. Overall, these sneakers are just as good or better than most brand name sneakers except they cost about 1/3 the price.
My son knows that sneakers don't make the man. He knows that these sneakers are comfortable and that's good enough for me. If you're looking for your kid to get popular on the school yard by wearing expensive sneakers, these are not for you. If you're looking for comfortable decent sneakers for your kid I would highly recommend these anyday over brand names.
