Excellent shoes, so far

Date:September 13, 2013
I have difficulty with occasional foot neuropathy, and had a tendon injury a few months ago. My doctor recommended another brand shoe with a stiff sole & a rocker profile, which lists for $100+. Friends & I went shoe-shopping in Kansas City, to 9 different shoe stores, with no luck. One of the sales clerks suggested Payless, so off we went though I wasn't very hopeful. I love these shoes. I've only had them a little over a month, but they are extremely comfortable, my feet feel supported where needed and pain-free (yes!). They are probably not as stiff as the recommended shoe, but they serve the needed purpose. At $25 instead of $100+ for the Skecher, plus Payless.com buy-1-get-1-half-off, plus 20% discount coupon, I've already ordered 4 more pair for myself and gift to a friend who threatens to steal mine.

Great pair of sneakers.

Date:October 18, 2013
I do not usually buy sneakers from Payless but I was going through their shelves looking for some Airwalks and I come across this nice looking pair of black sneakers. I have on a pair of Asics at the time and comparing the two pairs of shoes more closely, the Cross Trekkers look really good. I tried them on and they feel great and they are really light weight. A winner in my book. Needless to say I purchased them immediately. Keep the design work up. As usual I wish they had an all white version to theses shoes.

Comfortable for Women Too!

Date:August 31, 2013
Pros: comfort, style
I went to my local Payless looking for a black women's sneaker. I tried a few on before going to the Men's section. I find men's shoes/boots to sometimes be more comfortable or a better fit. And these did not disappoint! I Love black and silver together and these had an "edgy" look to them that I wanted. They are versatile and most importantly, comfortable! The best feature of these sneakers for me is toe room! I have plenty of room to move my toes around. The first day I wore them I was at work on my feet for 10 hours. That is the ultimate test of any shoe for me. If I can wear it to work for 10 hours and not get any blisters or pain, it has passed the test! I wear a women's size 9.5/10. A men's size 8 fits me perfect. The great thing about men's shoes for me also is the smaller size makes my feet look smaller! :O)

Good for the price

Pros: price & comfort
As a teacher, I need shoes that are comfortable for standing long periods. These shoes were perfect & inexpensive.

Dont bother

Date:October 12, 2012
The covering on the bottom of the shoe was some sort of felt that wore off and revealed the thin layer of rubberish material that was not very durable. The shoe did not last 3 months and I had to throw them away when I got a hole in the sole as the rainy season is upon us here in the great Northwest. Spend a few bucks for a shoe that will last you longer.
