Pros: cute styling
Cons: stiff, poor quality faux suede
I like a brown maryjane for my one-year-old because it's neutral and can be dressed up or down. I chose these over more expensive shoes because I liked that they didn't have pink flowers or colored dots on them -- truly neutral. But my appreciation for them ends there. They are stiff and don't flex at all when she walks, which has caused quite a few spills. Also, after a handful of wears, the faux suede is wearing away at the toes. I don't see these lasting six weeks, total. Next time I'll pay a bit more for a quality shoe. Lesson learned.
