Great boots for wide feet

Our son has wide feet, so our choices are very limited. I was incredibly surprised to find these boots fit him! He has to be wearing socks in order for his feet to slide in easily (he loves to wear them around the house).... but still, I never thought he'd get rain boots!
I don't think these would be too wide for kids with average sized feet.... but maybe not the right fit for kids with very narrow feet.
I marked them as a good value since they only cost me $12 ($15 on sale plus a 20% coupon).... probably would have given it 3 stars at the original price.
The quality seems to be good so far too. He's worn them for several hours a day for the past three week (while mostly inside of course)... but the still look brand new.

Cons: color is "off"
My 1 1/2 year old loves his rain boots. He can put them on and take them off by himself.... however the color is not as pictured on the website. The color ordered was black. Indoor the boots look black and grey, but outside in the daylight, they are actually a plum/purple color. The boots look like they're actually translucent.
