Great shoe for the price

Date:February 5, 2014
I have two boys. They love these shoes. They wear them day in and day out. The shoes generally last a full year or more until they outgrow them. We've seen the first failures on these shoes this year, but they are worn daily and by teen boys. A great shoe for the price.
The shoes fit fine. The software won't accurately adjust the size settings, please don't use them to choose size.

They don't hold up

Pros: good wet surface grip
Cons: poor construction
There is a Payless in the neighborhood so I stopped in one day looking for a new pair of everyday walking shoes.
I found this pair and they did their job for about a month or two before the sole fell apart. The inside of the shoe began to pinch, and when I checked out the problem I found the sole was falling apart on the inside.
While I had low expectations for the shoes I figured they would last more than 8 weeks. I typically get 6-8 months out of a pair of daily wear shoes, so I expected 4 months out of these.
I will give them credit for having great grip on wet surfaces.

Poor sole construction

Date:February 3, 2014
Pros: looks nice
Cons: poor sole construction
I bought these shoes thinking they would make good walking shoes. After a couple months I noticed the insoles at the heels were sunken down into the sole itself. Lifting the insoles up I discovered the waffled sole underneath had broken and crumbled drastically which is the reason the insoles were sunken. The waffled sole construction cannot hold up to normal use.
Since the outer appearance of the shoe is still in good condition I stuffed under the insoles with plastic bags so I could continue using them. I doubt I'll buy this brand again.

JUNK

Date:April 29, 2013
Cons: tread splits, interior falling apart, fabric eyes for shoelaces fail
On the first pair, one of the eyelets pulled out of the shoe. Payless did replace the shoes. Now on the second pair, the inside of the shoe is coming unsewn, and now the bottom of the shoes (sole) is splitting. I have had these shoes aprox 1 year and wear them 1 or 2 times a week indoors (I have a desk job and don't do a lot of walking). No matter what the price, if the product doesn't even hold up to light use, it isn't worth it.
