My 9 y/o loves these shoes. I had picked another pair, but when she saw these, I could not budge her from choosing them. She has high arches and I had to put arch support in them, but that is with all of her shoes. We got them in June and now it is August 20th and they still look great. I am sorry to hear about the other reviewer's experience, maybe that was a defective pair. My LG has no complaints.

Velcro wears out

I usually love what I get at payless, but his shoe is not a good purchase at all. The velcro wore out in just a matter of a few weeks. It keeps coming undone and now it just won't stay together so her shoe falls off her foot. She doesn't wear them anymore so it was not a good purchase at all.
