Terrible Shoes
Date:November 12, 2012
Cons: outer sole fell apart two weeks into our purchase, inside of shoe completely caved in
My husband bought these shoes to wear on weekends and to take on a trip we were going on.
First of the outer sole started tearing away about two weeks after he bought them. Then on our vacation the inside of the shoe in the heel area completely caved in. Thos was a month after we purchased them! We tried to doctor them up by getting some insoles but it was useless. The shoe completely fell apart and we had to buy a pair of sneakers for him so he could walk sround! A total waste of money.

poor design of sole tread caused failure
Date:March 7, 2012
Pros: uppers look gfreat
Cons: soles ruined
One major design flaw caused these shoes only last a very short time. The sole tread design has gentle curves, and the one close to the ball of the foot on both shoes cracked . The cracks go completely through the outer soles in a short time.

Pros: comfortable (initially), look nice
Cons: not durable, frequent replacement
I bought these shoes for use 3-4 days per week. Most of the use was standing and walking on linoleum. In about 2 months of basic wear, the soles started to crack. Before we were able to replace them, the soles of both shoes had completely broken into 2 pieces. The breaks were both at the flex-point near the ball of the foot. This makes them completely useless and not water-tight. To their credit, the uppers and laces are still in excellent condition.
Bottom line: only buy these shoes for VERY occasional VERY light use or they are a waste of money!!!!!
