Never Again

Date:May 27, 2013
I have been buying these type Airwalks for years now, but never again after this last pair. They fell apart in less than a month. Poor quality anymore. I don't know what happened these were nice shoes and lasted forever. I was at work when it was raining out and my feet got very wet. When I looked into it I noticed that on the sole they had this trapezoid rectangle that had almost notched out, letting them get wet. It's a shame because I always bought my shoes from Payless.

SKATE SHOE

Date:July 13, 2012
Pros: no arch good for skating
Cons: no arch bad for anything else beside boating
It is a skate shoe (deck shoe) there is no arch support, they are flat. Skater's burn through shoes, so longevity is not A big issue all of them get destroyed in a shot time.
Why anyone would go walking in deck shoes, jogging, dancing, etc. is beyond my understanding, you might as well sprint in 6"heels and see how that works out for you.
It's a decent shoe for it's intended purpose, planting a toe on one foot and pushing off, and the other foot standing on a skateboard.

Pros: looks
Cons: material, durability
I got these kicks for about 11 bucks, so they're worth it. They look nice over regular jeans. The material the soles are made out of aren't good at all. I've worn them for about a month now, and the sole is rubbing off from the back. I don't need any arch support, so they're comfortable enough, but are worn out.
I wouldn't get these for the original price.

Looks great but cheap construction

Date:August 4, 2011
Pros: looks great
Cons: fall apart quickly, overpriced for the quality, little padding/support
They look great, but after a 3 months of light use they started breaking down. The square panels on the bottom start separating and break off, which lets water in when it rains. The heels are half rubbed off.
I used to buy Airwalks regularly and they used to last a lot longer than this. After this pair I don't think I'll ever buy Airwalks again.

Looked great, didn't last...

Date:October 13, 2010
Pros: looked great.
Cons: zero comfort., zero quality., not worth the price.
I'd been looking for a pair of black shoes and these looked incredible online, so I went ahead and ordered them. After wearing them for a week or so the minimal comfort of the sole was gone and the shoe felt even flimsier than when I first picked them up. After a month or so I felt like I was walking on zero cushion and it was more uncomfortable than walking barefoot. Unfortunately the quality and the comfort of this shoe does NOT make the style worth it. I would not recommend this shoe.

Good looking shoe, terrible lifespan

Date:August 1, 2010
Pros: stylish
Cons: don't expect to walk much in these
Now I don't own much of a variety of shoes, but my old pair of Chuck Taylors were starting to die and I was in the market for a new pair of shoes that would look pretty stylish that also wouldn't break the bank.
I come across these shoes and thought "Hey, those look pretty nice." I try them on and they're pretty comfy and I walk for about 20 seconds before deciding to buy them (gosh, they look nice).
So my first day of wearing them, I do my usual walk, and I get a terrible blister on my right foot. I decide to do a couple more long walks within a few days to see if I could break them in, and I did. The blisters were no longer there.
However, there is no support in the soles at all. Your feet will start to get sore fast, and this is coming from someone who has worn only boots for the past 2 years, then switched to Chuck Taylors which also don't really have that much support.
Maybe I'm using it for the wrong reason purpose, after all they are skate shoes, but the lifespan is awful. I've been walking with these (I'm a very frequent walker) for the past 3 months, and the soles have begun to die out on me. I've burned through all 4/5 layers and the ground has started to graze my socks.
They look very nice, the build quality could use a huge improvement, and the comfortness is abysmal.
