Pros: sturdy & comfortable, great value
I also bought these for my daughter last fall to wear for school. The ones I bought were leather uppers, and the quality was excellent. She liked the comfort so much she even wore these on the weekends! She is very tough on shoes, (as I think most 6 year olds are) but they held up all year fabulously. This fall I am buying one pair in navy and another in brown. With free shipping to your local store, you can't beat the price!

Pros: classic style, roomy toe box, durable sole
Cons: not made of genuine leather
I bought these for my daughter to wear with her school uniform. I was a bit apprehensive about the quality of these shoes since they were not made of genuine leather and they were so inexpensive but I was struggling to find suitable shoes in a half size. I thought she would only wear them for a couple of months until her foot grew a bit and we would upgrade to something more expensive. I was surprised at how well these shoes stood up to daily wear. The style is identical to more expensive English style shoes and there was plenty of room in the toes. They even accommodated thicker socks in the winter. I was so satisfied with these, we never upgraded and stayed with these shoes all year. I have even ordered a new pair for the next year.
